Welcome to Weathersfield Schools Physical Education program web site. My mission for the program is to provide a balanced quality program which integrates physical skills, social development and fitness opportunities that encourages active healthy lifestyles.

My Program Outcomes

Students will be able to:

• Know the components of fitness and apply them to his/her daily life.
• Develop self-confidence and positive self-esteem through successful physical activities.
• Perform a range of skills which enhance an active healthy lifestyle
• Demonstrate cooperation, fair play and safety.

I will

• Encourage sportsmanship through Respect, Responsibility, Citizenship, Caring, Fairness, Pride and Honesty.
  
• Teach Life-Long Activities (Shuffleboard, juggling, archery, badminton, bowling, xc skiing, horseshoes, golf, climbing etc)
• Teach Team / Sport - related Activities (soccer, basketball, pillo polo, kickball, volleyball, floor hockey, softball etc)
• Teach students that each person has something important to offer to each class, on many different levels, not just on their athletic ability.
• Encourage a healthy lifestyle.

Community Involvement

1. I am collecting empty INK CARTRIDGES for recycling to: www.fundingfactory.com. Our schools have an account which when i send them in we get store credit towards PE equipment. Please send in any empty cartridges with your child. THANK YOU!

3.  Do you drink coca cola products or know someone who does? Our school is part of the "My Coke Rewards for Schools" program.  You can log in to  http://www.mycokerewards.com or Send in the red caps and box numbers to school with your child. Our school can get creative supplies, text books, athletic equipment and other rewards.
